Kimchi Ramen
This spicy and flavorful Kimchi Ramen is a delicious twist on traditional ramen noodles.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Soft-boiled eggs - 2
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Pork belly - 200g, sliced
- Kimchi - 1 cup, chopped
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
Let's Get Started
- Cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the pork belly and cook until browned.
- Add the minced garlic and grated ginger to the pot and cook for another minute.
- Add the chopped kimchi and cook for 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
- Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls. Ladle the kimchi broth over the noodles.
- Garnish with sliced green onions, soft-boiled eggs, and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
