Karoo Lamb Chops
A traditional South African dish, Karoo Lamb Chops are marinated in a delicious blend of spices before being grilled to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Rosemary - 2 tablespoons, chopped
- Lemon juice - 2 tablespoons
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Lamb chops - 8
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Add the lamb chops to the bowl and toss to coat in the marinade. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Remove the lamb chops from the marinade, shaking off any excess. Grill the chops for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until cooked to your desired level of doneness.
- Let the chops rest for a few minutes before serving.
