Italian Herbed Tempeh
A delicious and healthy vegan main course featuring tempeh marinated in Italian herbs and spices.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Red wine vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Italian seasoning - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Tempeh - 1 block
Let's Get Started
- Cut the tempeh into thin slices.
- In a bowl, combine the olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, soy sauce, red wine vinegar, salt, and pepper.
- Add the tempeh slices to the bowl and toss to coat them in the marinade. Let them marinate for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat a pan over medium heat.
- Add the marinated tempeh slices to the pan and cook for about 5 minutes on each side, until they are browned and crispy.
