Harsha
Harsha is a traditional Moroccan pancake made from semolina. It's crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and drenched in butter for a rich, indulgent treat.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Additional butter - For serving
- Butter - 4 tablespoons, melted
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Semolina - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- In a large bowl, combine the semolina, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Add the milk and melted butter, and stir until well combined.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
- Drop spoonfuls of the batter onto the skillet, and spread into a round shape with the back of the spoon.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until golden brown.
- Serve the pancakes hot, drenched in additional melted butter.
