Ham and Bean Soup

Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Place the ham bone, beans, onion, carrots, celery, garlic, broth, and bay leaves in a large pot.
  2. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low and simmer for 2 hours, or until the beans are tender.
  3. Remove the ham bone from the pot and let it cool. Once cool, remove any meat from the bone and chop it into small pieces.
  4. Return the chopped ham to the pot and season with salt and pepper.
  5. Continue to simmer the soup for another 30 minutes, then serve.
