Grilled Cheese with Jalapenos and Avocado
This grilled cheese sandwich is taken to the next level with spicy jalapenos and creamy avocado.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Jalapenos - 2, sliced
- Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
- Bread slices - 4
Let's Get Started
- Heat a skillet or griddle over medium heat.
- Butter one side of each bread slice.
- Place two slices of bread, buttered side down, on the skillet.
- Layer each slice with 2 slices of cheddar cheese, jalapeno slices, and avocado slices.
- Top with the remaining bread slices, buttered side up.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes, or until the bottom bread is golden brown and the cheese starts to melt.
- Flip the sandwiches and cook for another 3-4 minutes, or until the other side is golden brown and the cheese is fully melted.
- Remove from the skillet and let cool for a minute before serving.
- Slice the sandwiches in half and enjoy!
