Gouda Cheese Sandwich
A simple yet delicious sandwich made with gouda cheese, fresh vegetables, and a homemade spread.

- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Gouda cheese - 4 slices
- Bread - 4 slices
Let's Get Started
- Spread the mayonnaise and mustard evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place a slice of gouda cheese on two of the slices of bread.
- Top the cheese with lettuce and tomato slices. Season with salt and pepper.
- Place the remaining slices of bread on top, with the spread side down.
- Heat a pan over medium heat. Add the sandwiches and cook until the bread is toasted and the cheese is melted, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Remove from the heat, cut in half, and serve.
