Gochujang Chicken Skewers
These spicy and flavorful gochujang chicken skewers are perfect for grilling or baking.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Honey - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Gochujang paste - 3 tablespoons
- Chicken breasts - 2, boneless and skinless
Let's Get Started
- Cut the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
- In a bowl, whisk together the gochujang paste, soy sauce, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, vegetable oil, salt, and pepper.
- Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and toss to coat. Let it marinate for at least 1 hour, or overnight for better flavor.
- Preheat the grill or oven to medium-high heat.
- Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto skewers.
- Grill or bake the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and slightly charred.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
