Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, mix the glutinous rice flour with water until a dough forms. Knead the dough until it is smooth.
  2. Divide the dough into small pieces and roll each piece into a ball. Flatten each ball and add a small amount of red bean paste to the center. Fold the dough over the filling and roll it back into a ball.
  3. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the rice balls and cook until they float to the surface.
  4. In a separate pot, heat the fermented sweet rice, rock sugar, and osmanthus flowers over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  5. Add the cooked rice balls to the sweet soup and serve warm.
