These homemade gluten-free cheddar cheese crackers are crispy, cheesy, and perfect for snacking.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Water - 2-3 tablespoons, cold
- Paprika - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/2 teaspoon
- Unsalted butter - 1/2 cup, cold and cubed
- Cheddar cheese - 1 1/2 cups, shredded
- Gluten-free all-purpose flour - 1 cup
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a food processor, combine the gluten-free flour, cheddar cheese, cold cubed butter, salt, and paprika. Pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add the cold water, 1 tablespoon at a time, and pulse until the dough comes together.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly floured surface and roll it out to about 1/8-inch thickness.
- Using a cookie cutter or a sharp knife, cut the dough into desired cracker shapes.
- Place the crackers onto the prepared baking sheet and prick each cracker with a fork to prevent them from puffing up.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crackers are golden brown and crispy.
- Allow the crackers to cool completely before serving. Enjoy!
