German Style Braised Red Cabbage

Ingredients - Serves 6
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Ground cinnamon - 1/4 teaspoon
- Ground cloves - 1/4 teaspoon
- Brown sugar - 2 tablespoons
- Apple cider vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Red wine vinegar - 1/4 cup
- Onion - 1, thinly sliced
- Apple - 1, peeled, cored, and chopped
- Red cabbage - 1 medium head, thinly sliced
