  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Rub the garlic mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin and inside the cavity.
  5. Place the chicken on a roasting pan and tuck the rosemary sprigs under the wings and inside the cavity.
