Garlicky Roasted Chicken

- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 teaspoon
- Fresh rosemary - 2 sprigs
- Lemon - 1, juiced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic cloves - 8 cloves, minced
- Whole chicken - 1 (about 4 pounds)
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Rinse the chicken and pat it dry with paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix together the minced garlic, olive oil, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper.
- Rub the garlic mixture all over the chicken, including under the skin and inside the cavity.
- Place the chicken on a roasting pan and tuck the rosemary sprigs under the wings and inside the cavity.
