Let's Get Started

  1. Drain the soaked beans and place them in a large pot. Cover with fresh water.
  2. Bring the beans to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  3. In a large skillet, cook the bacon, ham, and chorizo until browned. Remove the meat with a slotted spoon and add to the pot with the beans.
  4. In the same skillet, cook the onion, garlic, tomatoes, and jalapenos until soft. Add to the pot with the beans and meat.
  5. Stir in the cilantro and season with salt and pepper.
  6. Continue to simmer the beans for another hour, or until the beans are tender and the flavors are well combined.
