Fried Zucchini Blossoms with Prosciutto and Mozzarella

Let's Get Started

  1. Gently open each zucchini blossom and place a piece of prosciutto and mozzarella inside. Twist the top of the blossom to enclose the filling.
  2. Season the flour with salt and pepper and place in a shallow dish. Place the beaten eggs in another shallow dish.
  3. Heat the olive oil in a large frying pan over medium heat.
  4. Dip each stuffed blossom in the flour, then in the egg, and place in the hot oil.
  5. Fry the blossoms until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  6. Drain the fried blossoms on paper towels and serve immediately.
