Fish Roe Stuffed Tofu
This is a unique and flavorful dish where tofu is stuffed with fish roe and then steamed to perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Green onions - 2, finely chopped
- Fish roe - 1 cup
- Tofu - 4 blocks
Let's Get Started
- Cut a small hole in each block of tofu and scoop out some of the tofu to create a pocket.
- In a bowl, mix the fish roe, green onions, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Stuff each tofu block with the fish roe mixture.
- Place the stuffed tofu blocks in a steamer and steam for about 15 minutes, or until the tofu is heated through and the fish roe is cooked.
- Serve the fish roe stuffed tofu hot with some extra soy sauce on the side.
