Fig and Honey Tart

Ingredients - Serves 8
- Powdered sugar - For dusting
- Vanilla extract - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cinnamon - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1/4 cup
- Fresh figs - 12, sliced
- Pie crust - 1, store-bought or homemade
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Roll out the pie crust and press it into a tart pan.
- In a bowl, mix together the honey, lemon juice, cornstarch, cinnamon, and vanilla extract.
- Arrange the sliced figs on top of the pie crust.
- Pour the honey mixture over the figs, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 35-40 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the figs are soft.
