  3. In a separate pot, boil the yuca until soft. Drain and mash the yuca with the butter and milk until smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a baking dish, layer half of the mashed yuca, the beef mixture, and then the remaining yuca. Top with the grated cheese.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
