Double Boiled Milk Pudding

- Water - 1 cup
- Egg whites - 2
- Sugar - 1/4 cup
- Milk - 2 cups

- In a saucepan, heat the milk and sugar over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let it cool.
- In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until frothy.
- Slowly pour the cooled milk into the egg whites while whisking continuously.
- Strain the mixture through a fine sieve into a heatproof dish.
- Cover the dish with foil and place it in a larger pot filled with water.
- Cover the pot and bring the water to a boil. Then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 1 hour, or until the pudding is set.
- Remove the dish from the pot and let the pudding cool before serving.
