  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, yeast, warm water, sugar, and salt. Stir until well combined.
  2. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until smooth and elastic.
  3. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a clean kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  4. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  5. Punch down the dough and press it into a greased deep dish pizza pan, covering the bottom and sides.
  6. Brush the melted butter over the dough.
  7. Spread the tomato sauce evenly over the dough.
  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  9. Top with sliced pepperoni and sprinkle with Italian seasoning and garlic powder.
  10. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  11. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
  12. Sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese on top before serving.
