Dark Chocolate Espresso Brownies

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a 9x9-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter and dark chocolate over low heat, stirring until smooth.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and espresso powder.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the chocolate mixture, stirring until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  8. Allow the brownies to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.
  9. Once cooled, spread the dark chocolate ganache over the top of the brownies.
  10. Allow the ganache to set before cutting the brownies into squares.
