Crab Mac and Cheese
This rich and creamy crab mac and cheese is a decadent twist on a comfort food classic.
Ingredients - Serves 6
- Panko breadcrumbs - 1/2 cup
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Crab meat - 1 cup
- Gruyere cheese - 1 cup, shredded
- Sharp cheddar cheese - 2 cups, shredded
- Milk - 2 cups
- All-purpose flour - 2 tablespoons
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Elbow macaroni - 2 cups
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- Cook the macaroni according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk, then bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, or until thickened.
