Crab Cake Dog
A delicious and unique twist on the classic hot dog, topped with a mini crab cake and tangy remoulade sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Remoulade sauce - To taste
- Old bay seasoning - 1 teaspoon
- Bread crumbs - 1/2 cup
- Egg - 1
- Mayonnaise - 1/4 cup
- Crab meat - 1 cup
- Hot dog buns - 4
- Hot dogs - 4
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the crab meat, mayonnaise, egg, bread crumbs, and Old Bay seasoning. Form into 4 small patties.
- Cook the hot dogs according to package instructions.
- While the hot dogs are cooking, heat a skillet over medium heat. Add the crab cakes and cook until golden brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Place a lettuce leaf and a slice of tomato on each hot dog bun. Add a hot dog and top with a crab cake. Drizzle with remoulade sauce.
