Let's Get Started

  1. Melt the butter in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add the flour and stir until it forms a paste.
  3. Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens.
  4. Add the corn, salt, and pepper and stir until well combined. Remove from heat and let cool.
  5. Once the mixture is cool, shape it into small croquettes.
  6. Beat the eggs in a bowl. Place the breadcrumbs in another bowl.
  7. Dip each croquette in the egg, then roll in the breadcrumbs until fully coated.
  8. Heat the oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  9. Fry the croquettes until they are golden brown on all sides.
  10. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
