Coffee Rubbed Beef Ribs
These beef ribs are rubbed with a rich coffee blend, then slow-cooked to tender perfection.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1 tablespoon
- Chili powder - 1 tablespoon
- Brown sugar - 1/4 cup
- Ground coffee - 1/4 cup
- Beef ribs - 2 racks
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the ground coffee, brown sugar, chili powder, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the beef ribs, then cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight.
- Preheat the oven to 275°F.
- Heat the olive oil in a large oven-safe pot over medium heat. Add the ribs and sear on all sides, about 5 minutes per side.
- Cover the pot and transfer to the oven. Cook for 3 hours, or until the ribs are tender.
