Chili Garlic Chicken Stir Fry
This spicy and flavorful chili garlic chicken stir fry is made with tender chicken, fresh vegetables, and a delicious chili garlic sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
- Green onions - 2, chopped (for garnish)
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sugar - 1 teaspoon
- Chili garlic sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Bell peppers - 2, sliced
- Chicken breast - 2 boneless, skinless, sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, chili garlic sauce, and sugar. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add chicken slices and stir fry until cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add more oil if needed, then add garlic and ginger. Stir fry for 1 minute.
- Add sliced bell peppers and onion to the skillet. Stir fry for 3-4 minutes, or until vegetables are crisp-tender.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables. Stir fry for another 2-3 minutes, until everything is well coated and heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
