Let's Get Started

  1. In a large pot, combine the corn kernels, water, cinnamon sticks, and cloves.
  2. Bring the mixture to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 20 minutes, or until the corn is tender.
  3. Remove the cinnamon sticks and cloves from the pot.
  4. Using a blender or immersion blender, puree the corn mixture until smooth.
  5. Return the pureed mixture to the pot and add the cacao powder and sugar.
  6. Stir well to combine and simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  7. Remove from heat and stir in the evaporated milk.
  8. Serve hot, sprinkled with ground cinnamon on top.
