Chicken and Mushroom Stir Fry
This delicious chicken and mushroom stir fry is packed with flavor and is quick and easy to make.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Green onions - 3, sliced
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Mushrooms - 8 ounces, sliced
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless, sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat.
- Add the chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the mushrooms, garlic, and ginger. Cook until the mushrooms are tender, about 3 minutes.
- Return the chicken to the skillet and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir well to coat everything evenly.
- Cook for an additional 2 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened slightly.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
