Chacarero
Chacarero is a traditional Chilean sandwich made with thinly sliced beef, green beans, tomatoes, and avocado.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Mustard - 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Bread rolls - 2
- Avocado - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Green beans - 1 cup, blanched
- Beef sirloin - 8 ounces, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- Season the beef slices with salt and pepper.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the beef slices for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until cooked to your desired doneness.
- Slice the bread rolls in half and spread mayonnaise and mustard on both sides.
- Layer the cooked beef slices, blanched green beans, tomato slices, and avocado slices on the bottom half of the bread rolls.
- Close the sandwiches with the top half of the bread rolls.
- Serve the Chacarero sandwiches immediately and enjoy!
