Butter Chicken Poutine
A delicious fusion of Indian and Canadian cuisine, this butter chicken poutine is a perfect comfort food.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Cheese curds - 2 cups
- French fries - 1 bag, cooked as per package instructions
- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Tomato sauce - 1 cup
- Garam masala - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Onion - 1, finely chopped
- Butter - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken breasts - 2, cubed
Let's Get Started
- Melt the butter in a large pan over medium heat.
- Add the onion and garlic, cook until the onions are soft.
- Add the chicken and garam masala, cook until the chicken is browned.
- Add the tomato sauce and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Stir in the heavy cream and simmer for another 10 minutes.
- Place the cooked french fries in a dish, top with the butter chicken.
- Sprinkle the cheese curds over the top.
