Let's Get Started

  1. In a bowl, mix together the ground pork, minced garlic, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Shape the mixture into small patties.
  2. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the pork patties for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
  3. Cook the vermicelli noodles according to package instructions. Drain and rinse with cold water.
  4. In a serving bowl, arrange the cooked vermicelli noodles, shredded lettuce, sliced cucumber, mint leaves, and cilantro.
  5. To make the sauce, combine hoisin sauce, water, sugar, rice vinegar, fish sauce, minced garlic, and chili garlic sauce in a small bowl. Mix well.
  6. Serve the grilled pork patties on top of the vermicelli noodles and vegetables. Sprinkle with crushed peanuts and serve with lime wedges.
  7. Drizzle the sauce over the dish or serve it on the side for dipping.
