Brussels Sprouts Gratin

Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Boil the Brussels sprouts for 5 minutes, then drain.
  3. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Gradually whisk in the milk. Bring to a boil and cook until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.
  7. Stir in half of the Gruyere and Parmesan cheeses.
  8. Add the Brussels sprouts to the sauce and stir to coat.
  9. Transfer to a baking dish and top with the remaining cheeses.
  10. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
