Branzino al Forno
Branzino al Forno is a delicious Italian-style roasted sea bass dish that is seasoned with herbs and served with a lemony sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Fresh thyme - 1 tablespoon, chopped
- Fresh parsley - 1/4 cup, chopped
- Fresh lemon - 1, sliced
- Branzino (mediterranean sea bass) - 2 whole, cleaned
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Rinse the branzino under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.
- Make three diagonal cuts on each side of the fish.
- Season the fish with salt and pepper, both inside and outside.
- Stuff the cavity of each fish with lemon slices, parsley, thyme, and minced garlic.
- Drizzle olive oil over the fish and rub it all over.
- Place the fish on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Roast in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Serve the branzino al forno with a squeeze of fresh lemon juice and garnish with additional parsley, if desired.
