Boston Cream Tart
This Boston Cream Tart is a delicious dessert made with a buttery tart shell, creamy vanilla custard, and a rich chocolate ganache.

- Heavy cream - 1/2 cup
- Semi-sweet chocolate - 4 ounces
- Vanilla extract - 1 teaspoon
- Milk - 2 cups
- Cornstarch - 1/4 cup
- Granulated sugar - 1/2 cup
- Egg yolks - 4
- Tart shell - 1
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Prepare the tart shell according to the recipe instructions.
- In a medium saucepan, whisk together the egg yolks, sugar, and cornstarch until well combined.
- Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and cook, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil.

- Pour the chocolate ganache over the chilled custard layer, spreading it evenly.
- Refrigerate for another 1 hour, or until the ganache is set.
