Bok Choy and Chicken Stir Fry
This delicious stir fry combines tender chicken and crisp bok choy in a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Water - 1/4 cup
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Bok choy - 4 cups, chopped
- Chicken breast - 2, boneless and skinless, sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, cornstarch, and water. Set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken slices and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add bok choy and cook for 2-3 minutes until wilted but still crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and pour the sauce mixture over the ingredients.
- Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and cook for an additional 2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
