Let's Get Started

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, minced garlic, minced shallots, minced lemongrass, fish sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Mix well to combine.
  2. Take a betel leaf and place a spoonful of the ground beef mixture in the center. Fold the sides of the leaf over the filling and roll it up tightly.
  3. Repeat the process with the remaining betel leaves and ground beef mixture.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat. Brush the rolls with vegetable oil.
  5. Grill the rolls for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until cooked through and slightly charred.
  6. Serve the Bo La Lot rolls with dipping sauce on the side.
