Black Garlic Ramen
This flavorful black garlic ramen is made with rich broth, tender noodles, and topped with delicious toppings.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Nori sheets - 2, torn into small pieces
- Green onions - 2, thinly sliced
- Soft-boiled eggs - 2
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Mirin - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Chicken broth - 4 cups
- Black garlic - 4 cloves, minced
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, combine the chicken broth, minced black garlic, soy sauce, mirin, and sesame oil. Bring to a boil.
- Reduce the heat and simmer for 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld together.
- While the broth is simmering, cook the ramen noodles according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a separate pot, bring water to a boil and cook the eggs for 6-7 minutes for a soft-boiled consistency. Peel and set aside.
- Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls.
- Pour the hot black garlic broth over the noodles.
- Garnish each bowl with a soft-boiled egg, sliced green onions, torn nori sheets, and sesame seeds.
