  1. Heat oil in a pan and add cumin seeds. Let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  2. Add chopped onions and sauté until they turn golden brown.
  3. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for another minute.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
  5. Add the okra and mix well. Cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 20 minutes, or until the okra is cooked through.
  6. Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with roti or rice.
