Beer Cheese Burger

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
  3. Cook the patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  4. While the burgers are cooking, make the beer cheese sauce. In a small saucepan, combine the cheddar cheese, beer, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic powder. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Toast the burger buns, if desired.
  6. To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a burger patty, a spoonful of beer cheese sauce, and a slice of tomato and onion. Cover with the top half of the bun.
  7. Serve immediately, with extra beer cheese sauce on the side for dipping.
