Beef Ramen
This flavorful beef ramen is made with tender beef, fresh vegetables, and a savory broth.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soft-boiled eggs - 2
- Spinach - 2 cups
- Mushrooms - 4 ounces, sliced
- Carrots - 1, julienned
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Beef broth - 4 cups
- Ramen noodles - 2 packs
- Beef sirloin - 8 ounces, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil and cook the ramen noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a separate pot, heat the sesame oil over medium heat. Add the beef slices and cook until browned. Remove from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add the garlic and ginger. Cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the beef broth and soy sauce to the pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add the carrots, mushrooms, and green onions to the pot. Cook for 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
- Add the cooked ramen noodles and spinach to the pot. Cook for an additional 2 minutes until the noodles are heated through and the spinach is wilted.
- Divide the beef ramen into bowls. Top each bowl with a soft-boiled egg and season with salt and pepper.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
