Beef Fry
A delicious and spicy beef fry recipe that's perfect for a hearty dinner.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Curry leaves - A handful
- Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - To taste
- Garam masala - 1 teaspoon
- Coriander powder - 1 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder - 2 teaspoons
- Ginger - 1 inch piece, finely chopped
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Onions - 2 large, finely chopped
- Beef - 1 kg, cut into cubes
Let's Get Started
- Marinate the beef with red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Set aside for 15 minutes.
- Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions, garlic, and ginger. Saute until the onions turn golden brown.
- Add the marinated beef to the pan and mix well. Cook on medium heat until the beef is well coated with the spices.
- Cover the pan and cook on low heat for about 45 minutes, or until the beef is tender. Stir occasionally to prevent the beef from sticking to the pan.
- Once the beef is cooked, increase the heat to high and add the curry leaves. Fry until the beef turns dark brown and crispy.
- Serve the beef fry hot with rice or bread.
