Beef and Scallions Stir Fry
This delicious beef and scallions stir fry is a quick and easy dish packed with flavor.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cornstarch - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Oyster sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Scallions - 1 bunch, sliced
- Beef sirloin - 1 pound, thinly sliced
Let's Get Started
- In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, oyster sauce, sesame oil, and cornstarch. Set aside.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a wok or large skillet over high heat.
- Add the beef and stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until browned. Remove from the wok and set aside.
- In the same wok, add the garlic and ginger. Stir fry for 1 minute.
- Add the scallions and stir fry for another minute.
- Return the beef to the wok and pour in the sauce mixture. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens and coats the beef and scallions.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
