Beef and Onion Stew

Ingredients - Serves 6

Let's Get Started

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the beef and cook until browned on all sides. Remove from the pot and set aside.
  3. In the same pot, add the onions and cook until caramelized, about 10 minutes.
  4. Add the garlic and cook for another minute.
  5. Return the beef to the pot and add the beef broth, carrots, potatoes, bay leaf, salt, and pepper.
  6. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 2 hours, or until the beef is tender.
  7. Remove the bay leaf before serving.
