Let's Get Started

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the tempeh into 'rib' sized pieces and place them on the baking sheet.
  3. In a small bowl, mix together the olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Brush the tempeh ribs with the spice mixture, making sure all sides are coated.
  5. Bake the tempeh ribs in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  6. After 15 minutes, remove the tempeh ribs from the oven and brush them with the BBQ sauce.
  7. Return the tempeh ribs to the oven and bake for another 15 minutes, or until the BBQ sauce is caramelized and sticky.
  8. Serve the BBQ Tempeh Ribs hot, with extra BBQ sauce on the side for dipping.
