BBQ Bacon Burger
A juicy, flavorful burger topped with crispy bacon and smoky BBQ sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 4
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Cheddar cheese - 4 slices
- Onion - 1, sliced
- Tomato - 1, sliced
- Lettuce - 4 leaves
- Hamburger buns - 4
- Bbq sauce - 1/2 cup
- Bacon - 8 slices
- Ground beef - 1 pound
Let's Get Started
- Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
- Season the ground beef with salt and pepper, then form into 4 patties.
- Grill the burgers for about 5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
- While the burgers are grilling, cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for about 1 minute.
- To assemble the burgers, place a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a burger patty, a slice of cheese, two slices of bacon, some onion and tomato slices, and a generous drizzle of BBQ sauce. Cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve the burgers immediately, with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
