Barbecue Tempeh Ribs

Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. Cut the tempeh into 'rib' sized pieces and set aside.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a large pan over medium heat.
  3. Add the garlic and onion and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper to the pan and stir to combine.
  5. Add the tempeh to the pan and coat with the sauce.
  6. Cover the pan and simmer for 20 minutes, until the tempeh is tender and the sauce has thickened.
  7. Serve the tempeh 'ribs' with extra sauce on the side.
