- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Butter - 4 tablespoons
- Red potatoes - 1.5 pounds
- Red bell peppers - 2, halved and seeded
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 1/4 cup
- Balsamic vinegar - 1/2 cup
- Skirt steak - 1.5 pounds
