Bak Chor Mee
Bak Chor Mee is a popular Singaporean noodle dish with minced pork, noodles, and a flavorful sauce.
Ingredients - Serves 2
- Salt and pepper - To taste
- Fried shallots - 2 tablespoons
- Bean sprouts - 1 cup
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Chili sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Black vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Pork liver - 100g, sliced
- Fish cake - 100g, sliced
- Minced pork - 200g
- Egg noodles - 200g
Let's Get Started
- Cook the egg noodles according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a pan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the minced pork and garlic, and cook until the pork is browned and cooked through.
- Add the fish cake and pork liver to the pan, and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix together the soy sauce, black vinegar, and chili sauce.
- Add the cooked noodles to the pan, along with the sauce mixture. Toss everything together until well combined.
- Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Divide the noodles into serving bowls and top with chopped green onions, bean sprouts, and fried shallots.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
