Ingredients - Serves 4

Let's Get Started

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the semolina flour, all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In a separate small bowl, dissolve the yeast in warm water and let it sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Pour the yeast mixture into the dry ingredients and whisk until well combined.
  4. Cover the bowl with a clean kitchen towel and let the batter rest for 30 minutes to allow it to rise.
  5. Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat.
  6. Pour 1/4 cup of the batter onto the skillet and cook until bubbles form on the surface and the edges are set, about 2 minutes.
  7. Flip the pancake and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until cooked through.
  8. Repeat with the remaining batter.
  9. Serve the baghrir warm, drizzled with honey and melted butter.
