Bacon Onion and Cheese Stuffed Burgers

Let's Get Started

  1. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. In the same skillet, cook the chopped onion until caramelized. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, cooked bacon, caramelized onion, shredded cheese, salt and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  4. Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
  5. Preheat a grill or a grill pan over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.
  6. Serve the burgers on the buns with lettuce, tomato, pickles, ketchup and mustard.
