Atomic Cake
A delicious multi-layered cake filled with banana, pineapple, and strawberry fillings.
Ingredients - Serves 12
- Cherries - 12, for garnish
- Whipped cream - 2 cups
- Pineapple pie filling - 1 can
- Strawberry pie filling - 1 can
- Bananas - 3, sliced
- Milk - 2 cups
- Vanilla pudding mix - 1 box
- Water - 1 cup
- Vegetable oil - 1/2 cup
- Eggs - 3
- Banana cake mix - 1 box
Let's Get Started
- Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a cake pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Pour the batter into the prepared pan.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the cake cool completely.
- While the cake is cooling, prepare the pudding according to the package instructions.
- Once the cake is cool, slice it horizontally into three layers.
- Place the bottom layer on a serving plate and spread half of the pudding on top. Arrange the banana slices over the pudding.
- Place the second layer on top of the bananas and spread the remaining pudding on top. Spoon the strawberry pie filling over the pudding.
- Place the final layer on top and spread the pineapple pie filling over it.
- Cover the entire cake with whipped cream and garnish with cherries.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
